Protofoam Ltd was set up to provide the Aerospace industry with Prototype and low volume CNC milled Foam Seating of the highest quality. With more than 25yrs experience in the Automotive industry the team at Protofoam had a vision to adapt there skills and techniques to Airline seating.

Automotive Seats have become more innovative over the years with the introduction of airbags, heat mats and massage units without compromising comfort and safety. Having these obstacles in mind has allowed us to overcome any challenge’s that may occur resulting in our confidence to deliver accurate parts specified by the customer.

Using our expertise we have migrated these skills into the Aviation sector giving the customer freedom to explore more diverse seating options. Through our Tier 1 & 2 customers, Airline Companies such as Emirates, Virgin, Delta, Singapore and Bombardier have all benefitted from this approach to seat development.
